Yes!  We are proud of our pricing, and want you to be able to have a clear understanding of what our structures cost.  To see prices, go to the individual product pages and select the Pricing tab on the right-hand side of the pages.  If you proceed with placing an order, you will receive a price quote which will detail the total cost, including any applicable shipping or assembly charges.

How much experience does HomePlace Structures have with building and selling its products?

HomePlace Structures has sold thousands of units, delivered nationwide.  Our staff has worked with placements in practically any kind of setting that you can imagine.  Be sure to check out the information in the "About Us" section of the site for more details about our experience.

How do I know which features are standard and which are optional?

Many of the product pictures in the photo galleries identify options that are shown in the pictures.  These lists are not comprehensive; rather, they serve to highlight some of the options built into the unit depicted.  Be sure to discuss with your design consultant what features would come standard with the structure you are considering.  They can provide you with current details.

What happens when I call HomePlace Structures?
You will be able to talk to one of our knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous design consultants. He or she will help you find answers to your questions.

How long does it take to get my product delivered?
Lead times vary from two weeks to eight weeks, depending on the time of the year.  For example, custom-built playhouses are very popular right before Christmas. The Amish people also observe many religious holidays and have certain customs that may impact production. We are familiar with all of these and we consider them when scheduling delivery. Ask your design consultants about our products available for immediate shipment.

Will the product I receive be a kit?
Most of our products are shipped as kits. However, we do have the ability to deliver some of our products completely assembled. The cost to ship an assembled product is higher than shipping a kit.

What will it cost to have a kit shipped to my home?
Shipping costs for some of our smaller kits start at $349.00. Shipping costs for fully assembled units and larger kits are naturally higher, and are based on the size of the item and the distance from our office.

Do you supply assembly instructions with your kits?
YES! We are very proud of our detailed assembly manuals. They consist of 10 to 50 pages and include up to several hundred pictures of the assembly process, along with an explanation of what is happening in each picture.

Will I need an experienced carpenter to assemble my product?
In some instances, yes. In all instances, a handyman with some carpentry experience is required. These items are custom-built, very much like a real home, and require a skilled carpenter to assemble.

How long will it take a carpenter to assemble my product?
We cannot answer for someone else, however, we can tell you how long it takes our crews to assemble the various items. Please call to discuss which specific item you are considering.

Do the Playhouses include a floor?
Absolutely. These are complete structures that include the floor, walls, and roof.

Are the playhouses waterproof?
Yes! When assembled properly, the interior remains dry in inclement weather. Much like a real home, toys left out in one of our custom-built playhouses will be safe, dry and secure. Children can even play in the playhouse on a rainy day without getting wet!

Is a foundation necessary?
Not in most cases. Most structures come with pressure-treated foundation beams that are designed to set directly on the ground, keeping the floor up off of the ground. However, crushed stone or concrete is sometimes necessary, depending on the size of the structure. If the site is not level, it should be leveled with crushed stone prior to assembling the structure.

Can I choose the paint colors on my playhouse?
Yes! Not only can you select from 20 different paint and trim colors, you also get to choose from 12 different asphalt shingle colors. Most people match their playhouse colors to their existing home.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes! We also accept business and personal checks.
