Selecting a Gazebo

How do I choose a gazebo?

“There are so many choices; how do I decide?” Don’t worry; we can help you find the choice that is right for your site and use – on the phone and/or on this web site. Some of your main decisions will include the following:

  • Overall size of gazebo
  • Shape (octagon, rectangle, oval) of gazebo
  • Type of wood and finish:  vinyl, pine, cedar, etc.
  • Special features, such as floor, double roof, screens
  • How much to spend?

The construction of larger gazebos, especially ones that are 20’ wide or more, introduce design considerations such as sizes of posts, numbers of posts, and fastening systems.  Some settings require gazebos that are rated for specific wind or snow load factors.  Our experience with specific engineering needs is a benefit to you, and our Design Consultants will work with you to understand and make sure your needs are addressed.

We recognize that open-air structures are often chosen for their character – for the aesthetic value they add to the setting in which they are installed.  Gazebos are excellent choices for many settings, and many options are available to create just the custom the look you want.  You may also want to explore HomePlace Pavilion, Pergola, or Arbor models, since they may match your desires even more than a gazebo.
