“There are so many choices; how do I decide?” It can be overwhelming to have 10 different styles of playhouses from which to choose. Don’t worry; we can help you find the choice that is right for you and your children – on the phone and/or on this web site. Some of your initial decisions will probably include the following:
o Size of playhouse
o Architectural style
o Inclusion of porch or deck
We’ve grouped our products into several different categories that can help you decide. So, for example, if you know that you prefer a cabin appearance, you should go to the Cabins pages.
On this web site, there are several ways that you can identify playhouses that you prefer. The easiest way is to select a product group that you like, choose a specific product to look at, and then click on tabs for the following information:
Photo Gallery shows some of the other playhouses customers have purchased. You will see many color combinations and features, and a variety of settings for the playhouses.
Design Features lists the features that are inherent to that particular unit.
Customize identifies options that you may choose for that playhouse. You will also find a link to our Color Selector, which is a tool that you can use to see combinations of the available exterior paint colors and shingles. Using our versatile Garden Chalet style building, you may select from an exciting palette, and find the mix that will meet your needs.

One of our very experienced design consultants, Fan, gives the following guidance:
“My favorite house is the Backyard Cottage--the one featured on the website home page is sitting in my back yard! I love the versatility. Right now it works well as a garden building and I look forward to one day playing house in it with any grandchildren I may have!. The little girl in me also loves the charming Deluxe Victorian. It is perhaps our most feminine 'sugar and spice' playhouse and has so many options and upgrades available to make it as fancy as you like.
“My advice to anyone who is looking to buy a playhouse for their children is to see the purchase as more of an investment rather than just buying another 'toy'. Each of our custom-built playhouses reflect the quality and the expert workmanship of the Amish men who construct them, and the unit will be in your back yard long after your little ones no longer play in it! The playhouse can then be used as a storage unit or a garden building or small workshop or craft station. To modify the Carter's brand slogan, I can say, "If they could only stay little 'till their playhouse wears out!"
